Tectrans Are Looking for Commission Only Sales Representatives

Tectrans are looking for commission only sales representatives, who may be able to help promote our translations services.

We are an expanding business looking to break into new markets. We are therefore looking for people who can devote a few hours a week to promoting our brand through their existing networks. We are eager to talk to you if you can help get our name out in places we do not already have a presence or through networks we do not have access to.

You might have your own business and may feel that translation services is something that could compliment what you’re selling. Perhaps you have access to an existing marketing platform and feel that this could be easily directed to selling our services. Or perhaps you simply have access to a large set of contacts from your years in business and feel that these people may benefit from our services.

This position would be a commission only lead generation role, with commission based payable on the value of any orders generated, including any repeat/ongoing work. Tectrans will handle all administration and customer interactions if needed, so you would only need to concern yourself with lead generation and any related tasks.

Ideally you would:

Have access to existing contacts or a marketing platform, that you can use to promote our services to. Alternatively, you would be capable of generating such resources for this project.
Be comfortable and confident talking to any prospective customers, in order to direct them to send a quote request our way.
Pass any such quote requests to us, and we can handle the details from that point onwards.
Receive a commission based on the value of any sales generated from such contacts (including ongoing commission for any repeat work such contacts bring in)
Operate in a market where English is the primary language of business.

In any case, we are eager to work with you to create a setup that works for you and allows you to best maximise the opportunity. We can provide as much hand on advice and training as you feel necessary in the details of translation work, as well as any resources that may be useful (email accounts, additional website pages and contact forms, etc.)

Monthly commission would be payable on all sales you generate, both the initial order and any repeat orders – so the more long-term ongoing customers generated the more commission would apply.

Tectrans Offering Technical Translation Services Worldwide

We are always keen to hear from experienced technical translators.
You will ideally be resident in the country the language is spoken and have at least two of the following:

At least four years professional translating experience

A professional translation qualification

A relevant language degree

Membership of a professional body such as the Institute of Linguists (IoL) or Institute of Translators and Interpreters (ITI)

An industrial, commercial or professional background

I recently presented Tectrans with a difficult challenge to translate a number of technical brochures from English to Italian with a very tight deadline for completion. Our new Italian distributor had a last minute opportunity to present our products at a trade show which was an opportunity I certainly did not want to miss.
